Our Story

Chloe and Tyler first met in 8th grade at Westridge Middle School in Grand Island, Nebraska. They were friendly classmates but not especially close, at least not yet. They both went on to attend Grand Island Senior High, where they remained friends throughout their early high school years.

Everything started to change junior year when they ended up in the same Anatomy and Physiology class. They were assigned lab partners, and Chloe quickly realized that Tyler was one of the funniest and most enjoyable people to be around. Meanwhile, Chloe would often joke with Tyler about asking his mom, Tiffany Fay, to make her famous macarons for her birthday. Chloe eventually ordered a batch from Tiffany herself, and when Tiffany delivered them to Chloe’s house and, with them, a bit of matchmaking, she couldn’t help but mention how perfect Chloe and Tyler would be together. What she didn’t know was that Chloe had already been crushing on Tyler for a while, and Tyler had been feeling the same way about Chloe, too.

During class, Chloe always sat in front of Tyler, until one day he casually asked, “Why don’t you just sit next to me?” From that moment on, things shifted. They started talking more, spending time together, and showing a little more interest in one another with every passing day.

A few weeks later, Chloe went to one of Tyler’s high school baseball games. It was a doubleheader, and during the break between games, she joined Tyler’s family for lunch at Jimmy John’s. While they were standing in line to order, Tiffany turned to them and asked, “So… are you guys official yet?” Tyler then smiled and said, “She’s my girlfriend.”

And from there… the rest was history.
